Hearing loss in a post COVID-19 patient

<p class="abstract">With the advent of COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a myriad long-term complications in post-COVID patients. In these patients, one rare but dreaded symptoms reported is sudden onset sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) that mostly during active infection. We followed up with patients our outpatient department and came across patient SNHL. conducted literature search PubMed Google Scholar couldn’t come any such care report from India. are hereby reporting first case SNHL post-hospitalised India presenting after 3 months hospital discharge, no history prior otologic illness, intake ototoxic drugs or head injury. Post-COVID can present weird including apart other commonly post COVID 19 sequelae.</p>
